I recently had the delightful experience of working with Stephanie from T-Mobile.
What made it delightful? For starters, it was Stephanie. Secondly, I was actually downgrading my service and STILL experienced great service.
I called and reached Stephanie on the expiration date of my previous contract. I expected that she'd give me the information I was looking for and tell me to call back the next day to change my account.
Not Stephanie. After she cheerfully helped me through the process, she set up a reminder (with her computer), to process the transaction the following day. She wanted to make sure that the system wouldn't charge me any early cancellation fees.
She gave me a detailed explanation about what to expect and then closed the call by offering more help. NEVER did she try to upsell me to something I didn't ask about!
I have to admit that I had a "wait and see" attitude when I hung up. I'm happy to report though, that EVERYTHING worked (as she promised) without one little hitch.
It's been a very long time since I've experienced such excellent service.
